• Designing for every-body

Adaptive and technical design consultancy.

Alice has over 20 years experience in the sports and out outdoors industry. She has designed for companies on a global scale, including the Olympics and with smaller independent sports and lifestyle brands. This has been with a focus on B-corp brands, working to help them grow through her deep connection and expertise in design, sustainability, ethics and community.

Her passion in addaptive design is making sure that every-body has access to the outdoors due to her own experience of recovering from a disabaling neurological disease over the past 8 years. It has been an opportunity to bring together her years of technical sportswear design expertise and unique lived experience of the nuances of living with visible and invisible disabilities.

  • ‘Everything we create either returns to the soil as food or poison’

Sustainability and ethics have always been at the forefront of Alices design ethos. Alice believes that we need to go much deeper and always start with the end of life of a garment in order to begin responsible design. Alice was one of of the first designers to be working with recycled synthetics over 20 years ago. But she has a strong passion for our health and the health of the soil, with much of her focus bringing together regeneratively farmed fibres and innovation.

Ethics go hand in hand with Sustainability, yet are often not brought into the equation. Alice will make sure ethics both humane and environmental are considered at every stage of the journey.
